As Victoria honors and celebrates its fascinating past during the Bicentennial year, we are also looking towards the future and keeping Victoria a wonderful place to live, work, and play. That's where the Victoria Day of Caring service event on April 13, 2024 from 8AM-11AM comes in!
Join hundreds of other Victoria residents and visitors that morning at dozens of volunteer project sites throughout the city. All volunteers will receive a specially designed Victoria Day of Caring T-shirt. Pick up your shirt early at the monthly
VPL Jams on Thursday, April 11 from 6PM-8PM at the Victoria Public Library!
After completing your project, head back down to De Leon Plaza for a fun family event! We'll have the Mother Cluckers "Home of the Six Flags" market happening on the plaza. All volunteers with a Victoria Day of Caring shirt can swing by our Day of Caring booth for a voucher for a free meal from either Ganga's Eats & Events, Trevino's Concessions, or Sip & Shine Cafe.
The market is sure to be lots of fun with dozens of unique vendors, free kids' activities, and fun photo ops. Stick around for the De Leon Plaza Ribbon Cutting & Statue Unveiling, starting at 1PM.
Come on out for a fantastic day as we celebrate our past, present, and future as Victoria Turns 200!
A special thanks to the
United Way of the Crossroads and
University of Houston-Victoria for their partnership on this event!
