He had previously served as the Marketing Representative for the Convention & Visitors Bureau since January 2012 and was promoted to CVB Director in October 2019.

Liz brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit administration and volunteer management expertise from the healthcare and nonprofit sectors where her leadership enhanced community partnerships, streamlined operations, and promoted local businesses. Previously, Liz served as Executive Director of the Children’s Discovery Museum and managed volunteer programs at the Texas Medical Center, enriching diverse communities through innovative initiatives. Passionate about creating inclusive and sustainable programs, Liz is dedicated to making Victoria a vibrant destination for visitors and locals alike.

Nancy Brittain - Destination Marketing Manager

Nancy has been with Discover Victoria, Texas since 2013. She brings to the team more than 21 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry including 13 years on the advertising side of tourism. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Arkansas and has been awarded the Certified Tourism Executive certification by the Texas Travel Alliance. She is a native Arkansan, who was born and raised in the "Rice and Duck Capital" of the world. Just don't ask her to call ducks!

As a native of Victoria, Bridgette feels it is a great place not only to visit but also to raise a family. Her job is to share all things Victoria with visitors that come into the center. The culture, sports, outdoor adventures, live music and live theatre scene are so much more than travelers expect. They leave the office eager to Discover Victoria and she reminds them, “Well it is easy to sell something you love and I love Victoria”
