Join the museum for a conversation with Louise O’Connor, author of Cryin’ for Daylight: A Ranching Culture in the Texas Coastal Bend and other titles. Her photographic portraits of African American cowboys of the Coastal Bend region have been exhibited at the Briscoe Center for American History and other museums. This lecture is organized as part of the Texas Independence Day Book Festival, and is made possible in part by the Anne Kouba Memorial Fund.
