Founded in 1977, Theatre Victoria has grown from a handful of participants, who stored their properties, sets and costumes in borrowed garages and performed only a few times a year, to a core of 150 active volunteers producing up to 10 productions annually. Theatre Victoria is the resident company at the
Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts
. We also have performed at The Ethel Lee Tracy Park Amphitheatre and at the Victoria Fine Arts Center.
Theatre Victoria is registered as Victoria Community Theatre Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit tax-exempt organization. Theatre Victoria is governed by a Board of Governors elected by the membership at an annual meeting.
