KB's BBQ
KB's BBQ
Location(s):
134 Villafranca Road Victoria, TX 77904
- 361-649-8049
Kevin Broll has a history with barbecue; he’s run two restaurants and a roving food truck. Now his operation is based out of a converted former army barrack moved to its current location just outside of Victoria. The location screams “good food here” and the smell as you walk up makes your mouth water.
Kevin works with his son, Cullen Broll, and together they represent some of the best barbecue around. Slowly cooking their brisket for nearly a day over mesquite and treating the meat with a unique Cajun spice, the Brolls have developed a tasty barbecue recipe. KB’s menu represents their culinary creativeness with fully loaded baked potatoes, smoked meatloaf, rib eye tacos – all with an offering of avocados, pico de gallo and a variety of hot peppers and sauces.
KB’s side dishes simultaneously rival and compliment their BBQ. Recipes are unique and stand on their own as a menu item and yet when flanking the smoked meats these side dishes are even more scrumptious. The pinto beans are flavorful, and the jalapeno mashed potatoes set your mouth on fire. As an alternative to typical barbecue, give the loaded potato or the chicken taco a try.
KB's BBQ is part of the
Coastal Texas Barbecue Trail
, and is open Tuesday-Friday, 11AM-2PM and Thursday they re-open from 5PM to 10 PM with free live music for their "Party on the Patio".
